Albert D. Hall, Sr., age 74, of McArthur, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from his earthly home. He was born March 17, 1943 in Helechawa, Kentucky to the late Granville Andrew Hall and Linda Carrie Robinson Hall. Albert retired from Ford Motor Company in Wayne, Michigan, where he was employed for over 13 years. Albert loved to go fishing and he enjoyed attending church services and visiting and helping others. He was a member and Deacon at the Church of God of Prophecy in Wellston and volunteered for the Vinton County Senior Citizens and Care Outreach. Albert is survived by his wife, Dorothy Faye Henry Hall, whom he was proudly married to for 53 years; 4 children, Mellissa R. Davis (Bobby) of Coalton, Albert D. Hall, Jr. (Cristy) of Wellston, Allen W. Hall (Teresa) of Frankfort, and Candice D. Frazier of McArthur; brother, A.C. Hall (Betty) of Dearborn, Mich.; sisters, Wilma Kay McClure (Fred) of Lexington, N.C. and Leavina Carpenter (Roy) of Vinton, along with 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Albert was preceded in death by sister, Daisy Faye Staten; and brothers, Bill Hall, James Hall, Verl Hall and Chalmer Hall. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Mathews and Pastor Jorge Anido officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
