Brian Keith Johnston, age 49, of Allensville, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016, at his home. He was born November 13, 1966 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Ray E. Johnston and Linda S. Moore Jordan. Brian was a 1985 graduate of Vinton County High School and was a former employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Jackson for 10 years. He loved the outdoors, where he enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, fishing and hunting. Brian is survived by his mother and step-father, Linda and Roger Jordan of McArthur; sister, Tina Johnston of Allensville; aunts and uncles, Mary and Ron Smith of Lancaster and Teresa and John Hutchison of Albany, along with several cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ray Johnston, and his uncle, Bob Johnston. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Log Pile Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions can be given to the American Diabetes Association or the Grace BAptist Fellowship Church in Wellston.
