Bruce Webb, age 72, of Wellston, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 29, 2017. He was born August 20, 1945 in East Lynn, West Virginia to the late William Glen Webb and June Ferguson Webb. Bruce was a 1964 graduate of Jackson High School. He was a former maintenance electrician at Frick Gallagher Manufacturing in Wellston, where he was employed for 38 years. Following the closing of Frick-Gallagher, he worked in carpentry, plumbing and heating until his retirement. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his camping friends. He attended World Outreach Ministries and was a member of the Wellston Lion's Club and the N.R.A. Bruce is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol J. Davis Webb; children, Jodi Norris (Bub) of Wellston and Darren Webb of Wellston; grandchildren, Jared Norris, Emily Norris Grey (Michael), Chloe Norris and Abby Norris, all of Wellston; brothers and sisters, Charles Webb (Alene) of Jackson, Eugene Webb (Brenda) of Jackson, Lenvil Webb of Jackson, Kathy Kuhn of Oak Hill and Doralee Powell (Gerald ) of Rockbridge; along with several nieces nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by siblings, Pauline McCoy, Demala Webb and infant sister, Glenna. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 P.M. with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating. Burial will be n the Ridgewood Cemetery.
