Dwight E. Ratcliff, age 56, of McArthur, passed away Saturday evening, December 30, 2017 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born May 5, 1961 in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Dwight Eugene Ratcliff and Vera Maxine Stuck Ratcliff. Dwight was a proud truck driver for Clary Trucking in Chillicothe, where he was employed for several years. He enjoyed car racing, going to auctions, and dirt tracking, but most of all, he was a big family man who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Dwight impacted the lives of every person that he came in contact with. He attended Emmanuel House of Refuge. Dwight is survived by his wife of 34 years, Brenda L. Ewing Ratcliff; daughters, Amanda Martin (Curtis) of Zaleski, and Jennifer Ratcliff (Chad Morgan) of McArthur; grandchildren, Garrett Martin and Lily Morgan; sisters, Susan Hutchinson (Don) of Chillicothe, Marcia Bonds of Greenfield, and Peggy Ryan (Chad) of Londonderry; brother, Donnie Ratcliff (Madalyn) of Chillicothe, as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Thursday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Will Gillem officiating. Burial will follow in the Londonderry Cemetery.
