Edith Isabel Napper, age 91, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday morning, April 25, 2018 at her home. She was born January 4, 1927 in Ross County, Ohio, daughter of the late Harley J. Hamner and Bertha G. Kerns Hamner. Isabel was retired from General Electric in Circleville, where she was employed for several years. She was a very giving person to everyone and she never met a stranger. Isabel was one of the founding members of The Calvary Connection Church in Glenroy. Throughout the years, she enjoyed traveling, quilting, cooking, working in her flower gardens, attending church and spending time with her family and friends. Isabel is survived by sons, Maurice Napper (Addie) of Wellston and Ray Napper (Pat) of Sebring, Fla.; step-children, Jim Napper of Dayton, Ralph Napper of Wellston, and Wanda McLain (Marvin) of Wellston; grandchildren, Jeannettea Hollingshead (Ted) of Wellston, Branda Murdoch (Bryan) of Ft. Worth, Texas., Zach Napper (Terri) of Marietta, and Stacy Alexander (Joe) of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Janeesa Hollingshead of Chicago, Illinois, Teddy Hollingshead (Morgan) of Jackson, Sahara Hollingshead and Jake Hollingshead, both of Wellston, and Milly Murdoch of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother, Bobby Hamner of San Antonio, Texas.; sister, Diane Knight (Stan) of Plano, Illinois; along with several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special niece and caregiver, Hope Gallaugher. Besides her parents, Isabel was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Napper in 2009; step-daughters-in-law, Sandra Mae Napper and Georgia Mae Napper; as well as 2 step-grandsons, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Calling hours will be Saturday from 1 to 3 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. A celebration of Isabel's life will follow the calling hours at 3 P.M. with Betty Libby officiating.
