Leanna Sue Maxwell, age 19, of Wellston passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Following her passing, Leanna gave the gift of life to someone else by being an organ donor. She was born September 18, 1997 in Gallipolis, Ohio. Leanna was a graduate of Wellston High School with the class of 2015. She enjoyed photography and taking selfies, writing poetry and short stories and listening to music, but most of all, she loved having fun with her friends and family and taking care of her dogs. Leanna is survived by her parents, Ronald L. Maxwell of Hamden and Michelle L. Jarvis Boyer and Wesley Boyer of Wellston; sister, Kelsey Maxwell; brother, Landon Boyer; grandmother, Grace Maxwell of Wellston, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald Maxwell and Roger Ray and Carolyn Sue Jarvis. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Monday at 11 A.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-fineralhome.com.
