Lois Arlene Allen, age 82, of McArthur, passed away peacefully at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. She was born July 30, 1934 in Logan, Ohio to the late Ellsworth Barnhart and Eva Pearl Conner Barnhart (Strawsburg). Lois was a loving homemaker who enjoyed reading, watching Westerns on T.V. and spending time with her family. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Kimberly LeMay (Blaine), Rhonda Thompson (James) and Kathleen Camp, all of McArthur; daughter-in-law, Angela Allen (James P. Hicks) of Jackson; half sister, Tammy Roe of Kokomo, Indiana, as well as 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ronald W. Allen; her son, Ronald Keith Allen; and grandson, Jonathan R. Allen. Calling hours will be Friday from 3 to 5 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow at 5 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Minton officiating. In keeping with Lois' wishes, cremation will follow the service and burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Bean Hill Cemetery.
