Randall L. "Randy" Bishop, age 60, of Wellston, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Ohio. He was born January 9, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Carl Bishop and Verona VanBibber Bishop. Randy, a 1975 graduate of Wellston High School, was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Rumpke Waste, Inc. He was an avid gunsmith who enjoyed being outdoors with firearms. Randy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie Lyn Smith Bishop; son, Zackary Bishop of Cincinnati; siblings, Sandy Stevens Bobo (Jerry) of Jackson, Carolyn Stevens Stover of Jackson, Tom Stevens (Patty) of Jackson, John Stevens (Mary) of Wellston and Rick Bishop of Wellston, along with several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Randy was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Dale Stevens and Greg Bishop. Calling hours will be Saturday from 4 to 7 P.M at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Sunday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
