Terry L. Ervin, age 60, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his home. He was born October 29, 1956 in Wellston, Ohio to Orland Stanley Ervin, Sr. and Christine D. Trosple Ervin. Terry, a 1974 graduate of Wellston High School, retired in 1998 from the Ohio Department of Transportation where he was employed for over 20 years. Terry always enjoyed going hunting, 4-wheeling and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his mother, Christine "Teen" Ervin of Wellston; son, Justin K. Ervin (Erica) of Wellston; daughter, Courtney Ervin (Aaron Ward) of Wellston; 2 grandchildren, Zane Ervin and A.J. Ervin; 2 brothers, Kenneth "Bub" Ervin and Stanley Ervin, both of Wellston, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Ervin, Sr.; his grandparents, Icyl Dunn, Joe Dunn and Kenneth and Wilma Ervin; and his aunt, Dorothy Holberg. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where a funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the McWilliams Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences can be sent to the family at
